Every Teacher project—please take time to complete survey

March 12, 2013

The Alberta Teachers’ Association is supporting the Every Teacher project, a national study to identify and make available the collective expertise of Canadian teachers on inclusive education practices for sexual and gender minority students. This study will help us learn what educators think about the best approaches for inclusion; the best supports for educators; and about the climate in Canada’s schools for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit or questioning (LGBTQ) students. The Every Teacher project team is led by Dr. Catherine Taylor at the University of Winnipeg in partnership with the Manitoba Teachers’ Society. The project is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada. All ATA members are encouraged to complete the Every Teacher survey. To access the survey, go to the ATA website, teachers.ab.ca and scroll down to Every Teacher project.
